So we did a little research on the origination of the Full Moon Parties and it started on a little island in Thailand called Koh Phangan. There was a group of tourists that got together to celebrate the Full Moon back in the 80's. From there the Full Moon Party grew year after year and now there are between 8 000 and 10 000 people each month who come out to celerate the Full Moon. Many of which are backpackers from all over the world.
In Koh Phangan they started Half Moon and Black Moon parties each month and get a huge turn out. With that said, we decided that the Full Moon Parties are so much fun, why not add to the Moon Parties with the Black Moon Party.
